Regarding the Service fee for Home Use Internet Connectivity Services to our individual customers affected by the Tohoku Pacific Earthquake

TOKYO--March 18, 2011--Internet Initiative Japan Inc. (IIJ, NASDAQ: IIJI, TSE1: 3774) and it's 100% owned subsidiary, hi-ho Inc., today announced to exempt its service fee for home use internet connectivity services for March and April 2011 to those individual users that were affected by the powerful earthquake that hit the Tohoku and Kanto regions of Japan. Please see the following for details.

Service fees to be exempted (*)

  • IIJ4U, IIJmio
  • hi-ho services

Individual customers living in the Disaster Relief Act applied areas in the following prefecture

Iwate, Miyagi, Fukushima, Aomori, Ibaraki, Tochigi, Chiba, Nagano, Niigata

Time of exemption

March 1 to April 30, 2011

(*) Applied to those whom were our customers as of March 12, 2011.
